Chelsea FC's Cole Palmer, Estêvão, and Didier Drogba are among the biggest names associated with Nike, and they all get cameos in the latest ad-extravaganza from the company ahead of the World Cup. The ad is a six-minute effort that clocks in at a whopping six minutes, longer than any previous Nike World Cup ad. Despite not being part of the tournament, Palmer and Estêvão still manage to make an appearance in the ad, with Palmer showing up alongside his buddy Central Cee in a rather ironic sequence given that he wasn't even selected to go. Drogba checks in as a pundit, though I'm not aware of him being one this time around for any outlet. The ad also features Channing Tatum cosplaying as Erling Haaland, which is a funny moment in an otherwise serious ad. Overall, the ad is a fun watch, but it doesn't really break any new ground in terms of creativity or originality. It's a solid effort from Nike, but it's not going to win any awards for innovation or risk-taking. Still, it's a fun way to get excited for the World Cup, and it's a great way to see some of the biggest names in football in action.
