Chelsea FC defender Tosin Adarabioyo has labelled teammate Tyrique George as the sinister doppelganger to Arsenal and England superstar Bukayo Saka.
The Blues winger has enjoyed a breakthrough season with the West London side under Enzo Maresca.
What happened?
George made his debut for Chelsea earlier in the season and played a major part for Maresca's side through the second half of the season following Jadon Sancho's drop in form and Mykhailo Mudryk's doping ban. The 19-year-old is expected to be one of the future wingers in the England national team.
Why it matters for Chelsea FC
Adarabioyo's comment suggests that George has a similar playing style to Saka, which could be beneficial for Chelsea FC in the long run. Maresca has claimed that he is very impressed with the teenage sensation, and the Blues' coaching staff has been working closely with him to help him develop to the best of his abilities.
What comes next?
The 19-year-old appeared off the bench in two of Chelsea's group stage games at the Club World Cup. It is likely that he will appear off the bench again when they face off against Benfica in the Round of 16 on Saturday, June 28. Chelsea FC will hope that George can emulate what Saka has done with Arsenal and become one of the best wingers in the world.
