Chelsea have signed full-back Pep Chavarria for £18 million, and his girlfriend Pawgli, 27, has been living in London since November. The Spanish influencer, who has 1.1 million TikTok followers, recently shared a terrifying encounter with a squirrel that delayed her 50-minute walk to a nail salon on time.

Squirrel scare

Pawgli posted a 90-second TikTok explaining how a squirrel on a forested path in London stopped her from reaching a nail salon on time. She had been walking for 45 minutes through woods and lakes, and when only 20 minutes remained, a squirrel stared at her. She asked ChatGPT, “Do squirrels attack?” and received a warning that prompted her to back away and wait for the animal to leave. The squirrel did not move, so she retraced her steps, adding another 40 minutes to her journey.

Moving to London

The influencer revealed that she and Chavarria have been together since November of last year. They are still staying in a hotel because their new home will not be ready until the 28th. Pawgli expressed that moving to London means leaving behind her established career in Madrid, where she runs fashion, beauty, and lifestyle content and has built a strong Spanish-speaking audience. She worries that the move will limit her opportunities and force her to learn English to reach a new audience.

Impact on Pawgli’s career

Pawgli said she does not want to abandon her Spanish followers and that she is “panicking” about losing the life she has built in Madrid. She explained that she earns her own income and does not rely on her boyfriend, but the decision to relocate is still “scary.” Despite the anxiety, she remains “mega-happy” for Chavarria’s new role at Chelsea and hopes to create content in London while maintaining her Spanish brand.

The incident illustrates the personal challenges that can accompany a high-profile transfer, as Pawgli balances her own career ambitions with the demands of supporting a footballer’s new club.
