Who's gone out on loan?
Chelsea FC has loaned out young defender Ishe Samuels-Smith to Notts County for the 2026/27 season. The 20-year-old defender arrived at Chelsea from Everton in 2023 and quickly became a regular for our Under-21s, in addition to being named among the substitutes for the senior team on several occasions in his first two years.
Why it matters for Chelsea FC
Samuels-Smith spent last season on loan in the Championship with Swansea City, making eight appearances for the Welsh club. This loan move will give him further experience of the men's game in League One at Notts County.
