Chelsea FC has signed a new partnership with Three UK, making them the first specific principal partner of Chelsea FC Women. This deal is part of the club's repositioning of its commercial strategy. Three UK was previously the main shirt sponsor of Chelsea's men's and women's teams, having announced a three-year partnership in January 2020. Dave Dyson, Three UK CEO, had stated that the sponsorship covered not only the men's team but also the women's and Academy teams. However, following Russia's war with Ukraine in 2022, Three came under pressure to sever ties with the club, then owned by Roman Abramovich. After the club's sale to a consortium led by Todd Boehly in 2022, Three resumed its partnership with Chelsea FC. Last season, Three lost its position as the club's shirt sponsor, but continued as the Official Telecommunications Partner. The new deal will see Three's branding on the women's team's training kit, matchday warm-up shirts, and travel apparel. Fans will be able to purchase the equivalent range from the 2025/26 season. Three will also offer exclusive deals on match tickets, stadium tours, and merchandise through its Three+ loyalty app. This partnership follows Chelsea's announcement of its long-term strategic plan to accelerate the growth of Chelsea Women. The plan includes dedicated resources, management, and commercial leadership focusing solely on the women's team. Three has also launched the WeSeeYou network, a culture-shifting initiative celebrating women in the field. At Three, they are proud to shine a light on female talent. The partnership is a significant step for Chelsea FC Women, who won a fifth successive Women's Super League title in May. The team will look to build on this success with the support of Three UK. Chelsea FC Women's manager will be working closely with Three UK to promote the women's team and increase its visibility. The partnership is expected to have a positive impact on the growth and success of the women's team. With the new deal in place, Chelsea FC Women will be looking to continue their success in the upcoming season.
